Paul was 32 when he died of wounds resulting from an ambush near Musa,
Qalax, Afghanistan.
TTE John A. Wolos
351st BS(H) 100th BG, 8th AF
Passed 31 DEC 2003, age 86.
Stationed at Thorpe Abbotts during WW II, John flew 35 combat missions
as a B-17 TTE with the famous Bloody Hundredth. He was awarded the Distinguished
Flying Cross and Air Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, among others.
